Aurifil 12wt (50m spool)
A wonderfully versatile decorative cotton with enough body to show off your stitches without overwhelming them. Aurifil 12wt has a smooth finish and beautiful sheen, making it ideal for embroidery, cross stitch, decorative stitching, appliqué and hand quilting. It’s particularly useful when you want the look of multiple strands of embroidery floss but the simplicity of stitching straight from the spool.
Think: around 2 strands of DMC stranded cotton as a practical comparison. It’s noticeably heavier than a single strand of floss, but finer than 8wt.
