After thinking very hard about this for some time, we are not going to reopen the Crystal Club. To be able to offer the discount to club members means we would have to keep prices a bit higher than we would want to – and with our rising costs and preference for transparency, that’s becoming really tough. We prefer to try to keep things affordable for all. It also takes a fair amount of time for Sarah to admin – chasing up vouchers that haven’t been spent, issuing new vouchers, and so on. We are trying to cut down on the amount of time she has to spend on paperwork/admin so we are able to release more charts!

The club was originally set up to allow people to budget for kits over time (with a bonus discount) – that is still possible now with our Layaway options for payments.

If you know the kit (or kits) you want to buy, add them to your basket and checkout using “layaway” as a payment option. You’ll get to choose how many months to pay over, and within a couple of days we’ll send you your first invoice – you get 30 days to pay it. Once all the invoices are paid, you’ll be sent your kits. The invoices are set up automatically, so once the layaway has been set up, there’s a lot less for us to do admin wise 🙂

If you don’t know what kits you want, you can purchase gift vouchers on layaway too. Once your order is paid up, you’ll be sent the voucher. This is probably the closest to the club scheme – but we don’t do the discount any more.
