One of the series of Lady and Unicorn tapestries from Cluny representing the senses.  The sense of sight is indicated by the lady, who is seated, showing the unicorn resting on her lap his reflection in a ornate gilded hand mirror.  She wears an elaborate brocade gown and a fancy headdress.  On her other side, a lion holds a banner.  The red millefleur background includes many kinds of flowers, with rabbits, dogs, a fox, and a small spotted wildcat.  The trees are an oak and a holly. (This pattern is solidly stitched.)

Recommended fabric: 16 count or higher.

Please note Scarlet Quince designs have blended threads, and our kits are designed for stitching “over 1”.

So if you prefer to use full crosses, you will need 25 count or lower as our kits for 28 and 32 count are designed for stitching with 1 strand over 1 thread (which isn’t possible when you have 2 colours).

14 count kits can come with either 14 count aida or 28 count evenweave (for stitching over 2)
18 and 20 count kits are provided with aida

25, 28 and 32 count kits are provided with evenweave.
